So, I always have a soft spot for Courtney Love. I had too many years idolising her and looking like her doppelganger in my youth to be able to forget it. She definitely shaped my early music choices and got me to pick up a guitar, so the news of Hole's new album 'nobodys daughter' definitely got me curious. Not really Hole though, minus the talented Eric Erlandson and the hot Melissa Auf Der Maur, but I have to say I really like the new single 'skinny little bitch' check it out:

New Obsession

A recent trip to china meant a lot of on flight movie watching. I checked out 'an education' and the costumes, hair and makeup were incredible. I wish I was a 60's girl.

My beautiful friend who I miss like crazy, sent me this Betsey Johnson Leopard bag in the post. The most amazing surprise! I have been obsessed with Betsey and leopard print for as long as I care to admit. Betsey always manages to incorporate leopard somewhere in each collection and I love her for it.

Let the right one in....

I finally saw 'Let the right one in' on DVD on the weekend. It would have to be the best vampire movie out there.

Such a delicate and haunting film. I loved it. If you haven't seen it get to the video shop pronto!

Roller Derby girls don't cry...

This weekend is the second bout for Vic Roller Derby League. It's the classic gladiator match up between the Toxic Avengers and Dead Ringer Rosies. Go Pink!!!!

The bittersweet nature of old Drew's 'Whip It' means the Roller Derby has had some much needed exposure, but it also means that tics are sold out well in advance so get in quick. If you fancy a good Sat night out in Reservoir ha ha really WTF??!?!? and dirt cheap booze and hot dogs then head down on and check it out. It's a shitload of fun and trust me everyone gets completely into it. I might have nearly lost my voice after screaming my head off at the Grand Finale last year...
